Molk is a ceramics project within Granite3D, combining digital design with traditional clay work. I’m using locally sourced Cornish porcelain and focusing on slip casting, modular parts, and the textures left behind by the making process.
The forms pull from brutalist architecture, archaeological textures, and early Chinese pottery. Casting seams and rough edges are left visible on purpose—what’s usually cleaned away becomes part of the final object.
There’s a kind of ludic asobi running through the work—a structured kind of play where repeating, stacking, and leaving things unfinished helps shape both the process and the result.
These are early pieces. They’re here to test ideas, get feedback, and see where things might go next.
