In 2023, Granite 3D obtained support from Deep Digital Cornwall to create 3D models of a range of Cornish mining heritage assets. We visited the King Edward Mine Museum site in Camborne, Cornwall and obtained scans of small and large objects, including a 10 meter California Stamp Mill.
Objects captured included: mine karts, Bal Maiden hood, old school stools, rock cores and larger scans of Engine Houses and landscapes using a professional survey drone.
